Zachai's 2nd Bday: July 7, 2008

It was a great day, although not as sunny as we had hoped. Almost all of Zachai's favorite friends were there to celebrate. We began by watching the Disney "Cars" movie. It was Zachai's first full-length cartoon. Afterward, we ate pizza, had cake and icecream, and opened gifts. Finally, the kids went out to play relay races and other games in the backyard.

Zachai is becoming quite the little man. He's determined and never backs down under pressure, for better or worse. He loves playing the piano, drums and guitar, and is known to bust a move whenever he hears a good beat. He also likes to sing opera- very loudly- usually in grocery stores where he can gather a big crowd. Other interests include every kind of vehicle and heavy machinary known to man. He can name them all and talks about them in his sleep. He plays with all of his dump trucks, backhoes, etc.. in his new sandbox. It's his favorite place to be right now. Recently we've enrolled him in soccer and swimming lessons. Everyone's been impressed with his soccer skills, but he's a little afraid of the water in the deep pool. We'll see how it goes...
